Art Curriculum

Art Curriculum

Kids Junction Art Curriculum is based upon The National Standards of Visual Art, The Elements of Art and The Principles of Design. It is for children ages 3-6 years old.

During the school year your child will be introduced to a variety of art movements, artists, techniques, and quality media. These will contribute to your child’s art awareness, appreciation, and ability. At the end of the school year we’ll celebrate your child’s work at The Art Fair on Kids Junction Square the same week as the annual spring musical.

Art Teacher – Mr. JoshuaJoshua

After graduation high school in 2000, I went on to attend a Discipleship Training School through youth with A Mission’s University of the Nations in Paisley, Scotland. Two years later, I returned to England to complete a Basic Leadership school. In 2012, I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Holistic Health Coach.

In 1998, I started working with the junior high youth ministry in my hometown of Yucaipa, CA up until I left for schooling in Scotland. Also, prior to leaving for Scotland, I worked as a camp counselor, working with children aged 10-17. During my time in the UK, I had the privilege of traveling to Northern Ireland to run youth programs and outreach. I was also able to go to Denmark and helped facilitate two different family camps.

My family and I have relocated from Southern California to Wisconsin with great anticipation. After spending time in the corporate world, I am excited to be returning to my passion of education and inspiring teens to live life with purpose and destiny.
