Education:
I graduated high school in 2021 from Franklin High School in the Milwaukee Area. After graduating, I started Edgewood College to study Children and Family studies. I will be graduating in the winter of 2024 with my undergrad degree, and will be continuing my education and starting grad school for child life which I will graduate from in the summer of 2026
Experience:
Starting at the age of 12, I have been babysitting for various families. More recently, I have worked two summers at YMCA day camp, where I primarily worked with 6 and 7-year-olds, but floated around other areas of camp. I also have been volunteering at Children’s Wisconsin and Gilda’s Club where I have gained a lot of experience in adapting activities to the child’s developmental needs, while also learning more about kids in general.
Personal:
In my free time, I can often be found with my friends exploring Madison. We like to go into the little shops or find new places to get food. Last year my two best friends and I started a student organization called Beat Childhood Cancer Edgewood, which has been a blast. It is nice to be able to raise awareness and money for a good cause! I also really enjoy baking, swimming, and reading a good book!
