Teacher Details

I spent one year at North Central Bible College as a music major and elementary education minor. I then attended Waukesha County Technical College and graduated with a childcare degree. After college I worked as a nanny for two different families over four years. Next, I worked for a company that writes and publishes children’s music for eleven years. I was then able to stay home to raise my three children. Through all of this I also taught kids at church, ages infant through sixth grade. I love spending time with my husband, two daughters, and my son. We enjoy taking trips together, going on hikes and going out for dinner. I also enjoy reading and being part of the worship team at my church.

I have been in childcare for the past 10 years, Kids junction is where I’ve had the most experience! From being a floater to assistant teacher to toddler teacher, I’ve enjoyed working at Kids Junction because the staff is terrific to work with. I am looking forward to meeting new families and to keep working with the ones currently here! I have lived in the Madison area for many years. I am a mother of 2 grown children who have now left us empty nesters, but our dogs keep us entertained!

I was born in Venezuela and I have been in the United States for 4 years with my husband and 3 children. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in music teaching from a school in Venezuela in 2013. I started playing the flute at 8 years old and was a member of several symphony orchestras until 2010 and was a flute teacher for more than 10 years. I have 3 years of experience working in childcare. I’ve worked as a floater, lead teacher and music teacher at a couple different daycares in the past few years and have experience caring for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies at home, going for walks and giving my daughter flute lessons.

In May 2025 I graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota where I earned by bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and received a tier 3 teaching license. I am certified to teach children from infants to grade 3. I started babysitting from a young age and continued until I was able to apply for my first job in a childcare center. During high school I worked at Our Redeemer Lutheran School in Madison. While I was there I had the opportunity to work in their early childhood classrooms which gave me experience with infants through 4K. I also spent two summers working in the Early Preschool wing here at Kids Junction during my time in college. In my free time I enjoy art, crafting, sketching, painting, scrapbooking, being in nature and spending time with friends and family. Overall, I love being present and enjoying all the blessings I have. I am so excited to spend more time here at Kids Junction and I am honored to serve your family in this way!

After graduating high school in June of 2021, I quickly found my passion for helping others by earning my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. Since I wanted to focus on working with children, I began pursuing certifications in early childhood education and have loved every step of the journey so far. Caring for others—especially little ones—has always come naturally to me and I am excited to continue learning and growing in this field. My goal is to keep building on my education so I can support, nurture and inspire children during their most important years! For the past 4 years, I have had the joy of working at a Spanish immersion preschool, where I wore many hats: floating between classrooms, assistant teaching and eventually acting as lead teacher. I’ve worked with ages 0 to 5 years and have truly loved the variety each age brings. Though every age is special, I found the most personal fulfillment working with 0 to 3 year olds. I’ve been a trusted babysitter for many families. Being part of these children and families’ lives is so rewarding for me. In my free time you can find me soaking in the sunshine out in nature, spending time with friends and family or writing poetry.
