Early Preschool Curriculum
To help your child meet learning goals, we combine experienced preschool teachers and support staff with a full-scale curriculum and a state-of-the-art facility. Our teachers encourage their early preschoolers to learn through playing, music, language repetition, and hands-on activities. Teachers use examples in the natural environment to make observations while the preschoolers explore using all their senses and abilities. All preschool-age instruction is guided by the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) as well as the Frog Street Toddler curriculum.
Our preschool facility was designed with imagination and fun in mind and purposefully ties directly into our curriculum. Our bright and colorful classrooms are covered wall to wall with murals of mountains, trains, as well as the animals represented in our Kids Junction Bible Curriculum. These serve as a constant reminder of the positive character qualities they’ll learn throughout their time here.

The program encourages children’s natural curiosity while helping them become more comfortable learning, playing, and participating with others.
What do children learn in early preschool?
Early preschoolers learn through play, music, language repetition, sensory activities, stories, art, math, science, social studies, and movement. Teachers use the natural environment and everyday experiences to help children make observations and explore the world using their senses.
What curriculum does the Early Preschool program use?
Kids Junction’s Early Preschool program is guided by the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards and Frog Street Toddler curriculum. Teachers combine these resources with hands-on learning experiences that support each child’s growth and development.
