Parent Resources
Are meals provided?
We ask that parents with infant and toddler-aged children provide necessary milk and formula, but once children enter our 2s program and onward they are given meals from our kitchen.
How do you communicate with parents?
We use a tool called Procare: Childcare App to connect with parents and keep them updated on their child’s activities and progress throughout the day. Check out our For Current Families page for more information about how to create an account and stay connected with us through Procare.
What supplies will I need to provide my child?
You can view the supply lists organized by program here.

Is your preschool licensed and accredited?
Yes, Kids Junction is a state licensed preschool learning center offering preschool programs for ages 2 and 3 as well as 4 year old pre-kindergarten. We also offer childcare from infancy to toddlerhood. We follow the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) in all of our programs to ensure that children are on track for their age and stage of life.
Safety & Health
What if my child gets sick?
We offer what we call Flex Days to ensure that families can take time off when necessary. Annual Flex Days are equal to the number of contracted scheduled days in a week and can be utilized by providing written notice prior to the dates Flex Days will be used. If written notice is not provided and/or Flex Days are unavailable, accounts will be charged based on the contracted schedule regardless of absence caused by illness or otherwise.
What security measures are in place?
Every one of our classrooms has secure, fingerprint-only access to ensure your child’s safety and security. We also have cameras posted around the building for surveillance. View our Facilities page for more information about what security measures we have in place.
What if my child has food allergies?
When you enroll with us, you will fill out a Health History Form where you will report any known allergies your child has, the way the allergic reaction presents itself, and the protocol we should follow should the occasion of an allergic response arise. We will record this information in our Procare database where our kitchen, teachers and staff can reference it and plan meals and snacks accordingly for your child.
What are your immunization policies?
Our immunization policy follows the state guidelines. According to the Department of Health Services Division of Public Health, state law requires all children in childcare centers to present evidence of immunization against certain diseases within 30 school days (6 calendar weeks) of admission to the childcare center. These requirements can be waived only if a properly signed health, religious, or personal conviction waiver is filed with the child care center. Please view our For Current Families page for more information about immunizations.
