I received my Assistant and Lead Teacher Certificates while attending Madison East High School. I then went on to Madison Area Technical College and received my Infant & Toddler certificate, along with having a scholarship through the T.E.A.C.H. program which is how I attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College to further my education in the early childhood education field. I have over 20 years of childcare and early childhood experience and plan on having many years to come! During my free time, I enjoy shopping, cleaning, listening to music, and spending lots of time outdoors as well as camping with friends and family.

I graduated from Abundant Life Christian School in 2015. My mom had an in-home daycare for most of my childhood, so I have been around kids for most of my life. I also worked at Campus for Kids Daycare for a little over 5 years. I love Jesus, people, and laughing. In my free time I love doing activities through my church, crocheting, and hanging out with my niece.

In May 2024 I graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies. I took multiple courses regarding infancy and early childhood development during my time there. I started at Kids Junction as a part-time floater with the opportunity to work with various ages and I found that babies were my favorite to work with! Apart from Kids Junction, I’ve babysat and nannied for a few families as well. Outside of work I like to spend time with friends and family. I’m a homebody so I enjoy reading and watching movies.

I have three years of experience in childcare and have mainly worked with children 0 to 3 years old. I’m originally from Colombia and I love being with my family and doing things together. I have two wonderful teenage children.

In 2021 I started working as a floater and began my basic classes to become a center caregiver. After a few months I was promoted to teacher for infants ages 0 to 12 months old. In that time, I enrolled at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville to obtain my Infant & Toddler Credential. I graduated in 2022 and was promoted again to a 1 to 2 year old teacher. In my free time I love being with my family, doing crafts with my little son and running outdoors in the summer.

In 2021 I graduated from Franklin High School in the Milwaukee Area. After graduating, I started Edgewood College to study children and family studies where I eventually received my degree.
I’ve worked with children from a young age, but more recently I worked two summers at YMCA day camp where I primarily worked with 6 and 7-year-olds. I also volunteer at Children’s Wisconsin and Gilda’s Club where I have gained a lot of experience in adapting activities to a child’s developmental needs. In my free time, I can often be found with my friends exploring Madison. We like to go into the little shops or find new places to get food. I also really enjoy baking, swimming, and reading a good book!
