I received my Early Childhood Teaching Certificate from Madison Area Technical College in 1985 and my Infant & Toddler Certificate in 2002 as well as my Child Development Associate in 2003. I then received my Infant & Toddler credential in 2012.
I have worked in early childhood since 1995 in my own in-home daycare and as director in a before and after school program. I’ve worked with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years and helped in my school district with the special education program as a parent liaison and was on the board of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association. I’m a mother of 4 grown sons and a grandma of 2 beautiful granddaughters, Vera and Hazel. I enjoy writing stories and making jewelry and spending lots of time with my family and little dog Holly.

I graduated from Edgewood College in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and have a license to teach kindergarten through 8th grade. I have taken many classes and workshops through the years where I’ve received my Infant & Toddler Certificate and do my best to stay current with new findings in the field of child development.
After college I worked with Madison Schools as a 4K teacher for many years. I needed a change which is when I got my Infant & Toddler Certificate and now here I am! I have 2 beautiful adult daughters who have given me 4 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with them and doing activities with them. I like to do crafts of all kinds from crocheting and sewing to scrapbooking—you name it and I could learn it! I also love the outdoors, yardwork and movies.
Mr. Erik
I graduated from Poynette High School in 2018, I’ve started working towards my early education degree with plans on graduating in the near future. I started working with children at my neighbor’s in-home childcare center in 2019 and eventually became a lead teacher at a childcare center in my hometown for 4 years! In my free time I like to hang out with my friends and family, I love movies and I’m always trying to catch the newest movie in theaters!
