Right out of college I began working at a camp leading various outdoor education courses for nearly 2 years. From there I worked at a childcare center in Mount Horeb for 1 1/2 years where I earned my lead teacher qualifications. I have been at Kids Junction since June 2020 where I have enjoyed hanging out with the school-agers and teaching music classes to the littles. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. Together we enjoy going for walks, spending time up north and playing in our yard.

My first job was as a youth sports coach which I did all through high school while also nannying on the side. Since starting college, I have done respite care for children with autism, down syndrome and cerebral palsy. I have had experience with this community for the past 10 years because my mom is a special education teacher for children on the autism spectrum. I did respite at a facility called Sensory Zone for a year and a half as well. I spend most of my free time shopping at thrift stores or reading books. Outside of work I like to try new coffee shops with friends and take part in workout classes. I always make time to exercise each morning. I enjoy running, Pilates and yoga.
